Marvel Studios has released an exciting teaser trailer for "Captain America: Brave New World," offering a first look at new characters stepping into familiar roles.

This film marks the first time Anthony Mackie takes on the mantle of Captain America, following the significant events of "Avengers: Endgame" and "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."

A noteworthy addition to the cast is veteran actor Harrison Ford, who makes his Marvel debut as Thunderbolt Ross, a role previously played by the late William Hurt, who passed away in 2022.

The teaser begins with Mackie's Sam Wilson meeting Ross, now the President of the United States, at the White House. Ross humorously comments on having to change his iconic appearance to win the presidency, as he suggests to Wilson the idea of reinstating Captain America as an official military position.

"Work with me Sam, we'll show the world a better way forward," Ross proposes, but he soon finds himself facing a new threat portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito, known for his roles in "Breaking Bad" and "The Mandalorian."

Wilson warns Ross about the weaknesses within his inner circle, prompting him to ally with the new Falcon, Joaquin Torres, played by Danny Ramirez, who reprises his role from "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."

The trailer features exhilarating action scenes as Ross confronts Wilson, stating, "You may be Captain America, but you're not Steve Rogers," to which Wilson confidently replies.

The new Captain America takes to the skies, wielding the iconic vibranium shield, before the title card appears, concluding with a brief glimpse of Ross transforming into Red Hulk and dramatically tossing the shield aside.

Carl Lumbly returns as Isaiah Bradley from "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," while Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson reprise their roles as Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns, marking their return since 2008's "The Incredible Hulk."

"Captain America: Brave New World" will hit theaters in February 2025.
